- 3
Earn when they enrol and stay.
When someone joins through your link and stays enrolled for 30 days, your commission is confirmed and paid out.

How the payout builds as you go.
Every referral pays out once that person has been enrolled for 30 days, and the rate climbs the further you go. Each referral earns at its own place in the run, so your third is worth more than your first without changing what the first one paid.

Sharing it well
What good looks like.
The affiliates who earn the most are the ones people trust. Here is the same situation handled two ways, so you know what to write rather than only what to avoid.
Talking about outcomes
Share your own story
I did the Software Development certificate at Zaio last year and I am now working as a junior dev. Happy to tell you what it was actually like.
Your experience is yours to share, and it is the most persuasive thing you have.
Promise someone else's
Do this course and you are guaranteed a job in six months, easy R40k a month.
Nobody can promise a job or a salary. It sets your friend up to be let down and it is the fastest way off the programme.
Describing the qualification
Name it correctly
It is an Occupational Certificate, QCTO-accredited and registered on the NQF at Level 5, which is the same level as a Higher Certificate.
The real thing is genuinely impressive, and it is checkable.
Upgrade it
It is basically a degree, same as university.
It is not a degree and we will never call it one. Saying so misleads someone spending real money.
Where you share it
Where it is wanted
Replying to someone in a group who asked how to get into tech, with your link and a line on why you rate it.
The question came first, so the answer is welcome.
Where it is not
Dropping the link under unrelated posts, or into groups that have asked people not to post links.
It annoys the people you are trying to help and gets the link reported.
Being upfront
Say it is your link
Full disclosure, this is my referral link, so Zaio pays me a thank-you if you end up enrolling. Sharing it either way.
People mind the surprise far more than the commission.
Hide it
Passing the link off as a neutral recommendation, or running ads that look like they come from Zaio.
It reads as a trick the moment they find out, and brand-lookalike ads are not allowed.
Who it is for
You do not need an audience of thousands.
Graduates and students
You have already done it, so people ask you how. This pays you for the answer you were giving away anyway.
Creators and communities
You run a channel, a newsletter or a WhatsApp group where people ask about getting into tech.
Career coaches and counsellors
You advise people on what to study next, and you want an option you can stand behind.
Employers and teams
You want to upskill people around you and would rather the referral came back to your team.
